My Review of 'Ravished' by Amanda Quick

RavishedRavished by Amanda Quick
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Ravished gives a whole new meaning to the words “light reading”. If you don’t hold on tight, this book is so light in substance that it just might fly out of your hands. It is certainly the kind of book one might wish to take to the beach on a summer’s day. Something that will not in any way disturb the somnolence of hot sun and sand and sea.

Amanda Quick (a pseudonym for Jayne Ann Krentz) has given us a quirky fossil hunting heroine, and a dashing dark hero referred to by polite society as “the beast” because of a disfiguring scar on his face, many pages of swooning sex, and a bit of threatening villain. There you have it. As I said, a beach read.
